Children's Ministry Lesson for February 16

Children's Ministry News

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old
  • Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old
  • Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
  • Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade
We use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this week's lesson...

The People Complained

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: The People Complained
Story Point from Numbers 16; 20-21: Like the Israelites, we sin when we complain and do not trust God. The Israelites faced death for their sin, but when they looked to the bronze snake they were healed. The consequence for our sin is also death, but when we look to Jesus and trust in Him, we will be saved.
Family Bible Reading: We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
Big Picture Question: Why should we obey God?
Big Picture Answer:  We should obey God because He made us, He loves us, and His plans are good.
