Children's Ministry Lesson for December 4

Children's Ministry News

Wear your favorite Christmas Pj's to church on Sunday, December 18th!  After service, there will be cookies for all our kiddos.  We are looking forward to celebrating with everyone the last Sunday together before Christmas!
For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old
  • Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old
  • Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
  • Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade
We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this week's lesson...

Jeremiah Encouraged God's People

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about:  Jeremiah Encouraged God's People
Story Point: God did not abandon His people. The prophet Jeremiah encouraged God’s people. He said God was going to save His people from captivity and raise up a new King—a forever King—from David’s family.
Family Bible Reading:  “The LORD your God is among you, a warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will be quiet in his love. He will delight in you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

Big Picture Answer:   God is in all places at all times and is always with His people.
