Children's Ministry Lesson for January 1

Children's Ministry News

Happy New Year!  This Sunday is Family Sunday, and all children will remain in service with their families.  We will have activity pages in the back of the sanctuary that coincide with this week's lesson.  The Young Family room is always open for families with small children.

Now for this week's lesson...

God Delivered His People

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: God Delivered His People
Story Point: God always keeps His promises. God chose to use King Cyrus in His plan to graciously deliver His people from exile. King Cyrus’ action to free the people reminds us of Jesus, whom God chose to rescue sinners and bring us to our true home in His kingdom of grace.
Family Bible Reading: The person who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence indeed is the LORD, is blessed. Jeremiah 17:7
Big Picture Question: Can God be trusted?
Big Picture Answer:   Yes, God cannot lie or ever be wrong, so we can trust whatever He has said.
