Children's Ministry Lesson for April 13

Children's Ministry News

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old
  • Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old
  • Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
  • Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade
We use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this week's lesson...

Big Picture Question: What is repentance?
Big Picture Answer:  Repentance is turning away from sin and turning to Jesus.

Gospel Gems to Discuss at Home

Gospel Tots (ages 1 & 2 years old)
  • God sent Jesus to be our King. When we believe in Him, He will save us from our sins.
Gospel Tykes (ages 3 -5 years old)
  • Jesus is our special King and Savior. Trusting in Jesus means loving Him. If we love Him, He will forgive us and give us life with Him forever.
Gospel Kids (K - 2nd grade)
  • The people welcomed Jesus as King, but they did not recognize Him as their Savior. Jesus calls all people to trust in Him as Savior and Lord. When we do, we will be saved from sin and death.
Gospel Students (3rd - 5th grade)
  • The people welcomed Jesus as King, but they did not recognize Him as their Savior. Jesus calls all people to trust in Him as Savior and Lord. When we do, we will be saved from sin and death.
