Children's Ministry Lesson for April 2

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:

• Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old 
• Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old 
• Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
• Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade

We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  

And now for this week's lesson... 

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about:  Jesus Called His Disciples!
Story Point:  Jesus, the Son of God and true King of Israel, came to earth to show what God is like and to save people from their sins. He called disciples to follow Him. We are Jesus’ disciples when we trust in Him. We can invite everyone to come and see the good news about Jesus.
Family Bible Reading: John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” John 1:29
Big Picture Question:  What did Jesus do to save us?
Big Picture Answer:   Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross, and rose from the dead.
