Children's Ministry News

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old
  • Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old
  • Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
  • Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade
We use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this week's lesson...

Moses Confronted Pharoah!

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: Moses Confronted Pharoah
Story Point from Exodus 5-12: Because of Pharaoh’s hard heart, Egypt suffered by God’s people were saved. Because of Jesus’ loving heart, He willingly suffered on the cross so we could be saved from sin. His blood saves us from our sin just as the Passover lamb’s blood saved the firstborn of the Israelites.
Family Bible Reading: The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and rescues them from all their troubles. Psalm 34:17
Big Picture Question: Why does sin separate us from God?
Big Picture Answer:  Because God is holy, sin has broken our relationship with God.
