Children's Ministry Lesson for November 3

Children's Ministry News

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old
  • Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old
  • Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
  • Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade
We use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this week's lesson...

Jacob and Esau

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: Jacob and Esau!
Story Point from Genesis 25, 27: God’s covenant with Abraham continued to the next generation. Esau sold his birthright, giving Jacob the right to the wonderful blessings God promised to his father Abraham. Through Jacob’s family, God would send the promised Savior to bring blessing and salvation to the world.
Family Bible Reading: You planned evil against me; God planned it for good to bring about the present result—the survival of many people. Genesis 50:20
Big Picture Question: Who is in control of everything?
Big Picture Answer:  God is in control of everything in heaven and on earth. Nothing is outside of God’s good plan.
